16-Year-Old Actor Hudson Meek Dies in Alabama

Hudson Meek, a 16-year-old actor who appeared in the 2017 film “Baby Driver,” died last week after falling from a moving vehicle in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.

Meek suffered blunt force trauma and was admitted to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital on December 19. He passed away on December 21 due to his injuries, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s office.

In an Instagram post, Meek’s friends and family remembered him as a talented actor who had made a lasting impact on those around him. His acting credits include “Baby Driver,” “Badanamu Stories,” NBC’s “Found,” The CW’s “Legacies,” and “The School Duel.”

Meek was described in his obituary as a reflective and thoughtful person who loved the outdoors, particularly snow-skiing and tubing at the lake.

An investigation into Meek’s death is ongoing with the Vestavia Hills Police Department.
