2025 SAG Awards Fashion Flops: Celebrities’ Overlooks

The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday, showcasing glamorous fashion moments alongside some misses. While many stars arrived in stunning attire, a few attendees stood out for their outfits that fell short. Here’s a look at the night’s fashion moments that could have been better.

Zooey Deschanel’s dress blended menswear and womenswear elements but didn’t quite work as intended. The black Giorgio Armani gown was perfect when paired with her fiancé Jonathan Scott, but its blue color on the red carpet overpowered her petite frame. For a more cohesive look, she could have stuck to one style – like a classic black gown or a strong power suit.

Jamie Lee Curtis wore a stunning Dolce & Gabbana black gown, but it was overshadowed by a long-sleeved feather shawl. The oversized piece shielded her neck and covered her hands, making it hard to focus on the dress itself. To make an even bolder statement, Curtis could have ditched the shawl.

Tyler James Williams’ red-carpet look included a stunning but ill-fitting suit jacket paired with loose-fitting pants. While the maroon color looked great on him, the outfit’s messiness detracted from the overall style. For a more polished look, Williams could have opted for a tailored suit.

Jeremy Strong made a bold fashion choice with his custom-made sage-green outfit, but its unique shade wasn’t enough to save it from other styling issues. The string tie and elevated satin lapels didn’t quite fit with the rest of the look. A different jacket might have completed the outfit.

Kerry Washington’s pink Armani Privé gown had so much potential – from the waist down, it was a true showstopper. However, its long-sleeved top was see-through, distracting from the overall elegance. Adding a satin bra would have completed the look and made it even more stunning.

Millie Bobby Brown wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown that seemed underwhelming compared to her red-carpet presence. The peach-colored gown’s simplicity didn’t do justice to its designer label, and the bleach-blonde hair clashed with its pale color. To elevate the look, Brown could have opted for something more dramatic.

Demi Moore’s edgy Bottega Veneta gown had some great elements – its classic black color and strapless neckline were on point. However, the leather bodice didn’t quite work with the pleated peplum skirt. A softer material might have made a bigger impact in this striking look.
