2025 Social Security Payment Schedule February

Expecting a Social Security check this week? You’re on time if you’ve checked the February payment schedule. The Social Security Administration typically pays out monthly payments in the same week every month, but it’s determined by your birthdate.

Beneficiaries who have received Social Security since May 1997 or receive both Social Security and Supplemental Security Income get their payments on the same date – either the 1st of the month for SSI recipients or the 3rd for Social Security recipients. However, if you’re receiving only Social Security benefits, your payment date is determined by your birthdate.

Here’s how it works:

– If your birthday falls between January 1 and March 10, you’ll receive your check on February 12.
– If your birthday falls between March 11 and March 20, you’ll receive your check on February 19.
– If your birthday falls between March 21 and the end of the month, you’ll receive your check on February 26.

The payment schedule starts on the second Wednesday of the month for those receiving only Social Security benefits. However, there’s an exception if your birthdate is between April 1 and October 31 – in this case, payments will be issued on the following Monday.
