The all-new 2026 Nissan LEAF is set to arrive at US dealerships this fall, boasting a lower starting price than its predecessor and packed with upgraded features. The electric hatchback now comes as a crossover SUV, offering over 300 miles of range and fast charging capabilities.
Starting at $29,990, the 2026 LEAF SV+ trim has “the lowest starting MSRP for any new EV currently on sale in the US.” This represents a significant price drop of nearly $2,000 compared to the 2025 model year. Despite added features and improved range, the LEAF SV+ remains priced under $30,000.
Powered by a 75 kWh liquid-cooled Li-ION battery, the 2026 LEAF now offers up to 303 miles of driving range, significantly surpassing the outgoing model’s 212-mile maximum range. Fast charging capabilities allow for an 80% charge in just 35 minutes.
The redesigned interior features a minimalist setup with dual driver display and infotainment screens, while new camera technology provides standard features such as Intelligent Around View Monitor and Invisible Hood View.
Nissan has reaffirmed its commitment to making electric driving accessible to all, with the LEAF’s price remaining steady over three generations. The 2026 LEAF will begin arriving at US dealerships this fall, offering a compelling package of upgrades and affordability under $30,000.
