Police can seize more than £2m from Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan due to tax evasion allegations. The brothers failed to pay taxes on £21m earned from their online businesses, including OnlyFans and the War Room. Devon and Cornwall Police had sought to freeze £7 million in bank accounts held by the brothers and a third person, J.
A court ruled that Andrew Tate’s attempt to evade taxes was a “straightforward cheat” and that he gave no evidence of legitimate business activity. The police were allowed to seize £2,683,345, including cryptocurrency, as part of the tax evasion case.
The ruling comes amid ongoing allegations of human trafficking against the brothers in Romania, where they face charges of rape, human trafficking, and forming a criminal gang.
