30 Palestinians Killed in Israeli Strikes on Gaza

At least 30 Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip since Saturday evening. Eight people were killed in a school attack in Gaza City, and four more died when an IDF vehicle was targeted in another incident.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) says that the school building housed militants and that the air force struck the site “in a targeted manner and with intelligence guidance.” However, Palestinian rescue organizations have expressed concerns about civilian casualties due to lack of prior warning.

One hospital in northern Gaza, Kamal Adwan Hospital, has been ordered to close by the Israeli army. The hospital’s director, Husam Abu Safiya, said that obeying the order was “next to impossible” due to a lack of ambulances. He demanded accountability from the world for the suffering of Palestinians under attack.

On Saturday night, Hamas announced that it had met with Egyptian intelligence in Cairo as part of negotiations with Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The delegations discussed developments in the negotiations, emphasizing their desire to stop the aggression in Gaza and reach an agreement provided the enemy ceases imposing new demands.

As the situation continues to unfold, the international community remains silent on the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza.
