Warner expressed optimism about the team’s efforts to secure deals for key players, saying it will allow them to focus on football rather than negotiations during the season. As a three-time All-Pro selection, Warner is entering the final stages of his current five-year contract.
Despite having two seasons remaining, Warner has a significant salary cap hit this year, making an extension with reduced cap space in future years a likely outcome for both parties. A deal is expected to be finalized soon.
