With the 49ers currently dealing with injuries to Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings, who are expected to return from calf and hamstring injuries, Chosen’s signing may serve as a depth audition to help manage reps in training camp rather than securing a final spot on the 53-man roster.
