This year’s early access games are shaping up to be some serious contenders. While they may not be fully finished yet, these titles are already offering hours of fun and promise even more exciting things in the future.
At the top of our list is The Rogue Prince of Persia, a roguelike game from the developer behind Dead Cells. This action-packed title sees the Prince trying to repel an invasion, with death being reversed and time rewinding on each failure. With acrobatic movement and combat, this game is already a must-play.
Coming in at number four is Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, a single-player survival shooter that’s part co-op FPS. This top-down shooter offers a unique twist on the genre, with mining and resource collection adding depth to gameplay. We’re excited to see where this series goes from here.
Third on our list is Manor Lords, a medieval city builder with impressive depth and breadth of content. With freedom to build wherever you want, this game offers a fresh take on the city-building genre. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for this title as it continues to develop.
Next up is Palworld, a survival game set in an open world with crafting elements. This title has already seen phenomenal success and is reminiscent of Ark: Survival Evolved. Despite its influences, Palworld feels like little else – we’re eager to see how it develops from here.
Last but not least, Hades 2 takes the top spot on our list. As expected, this game is living up to its predecessor’s hype, with a winning formula that’s been tweaked and improved upon. With new skills and abilities, this title promises even more exciting gameplay in the future.
All of these titles are must-plays for fans of early access games, offering something unique and exciting that’s sure to keep you engaged for hours on end.
