Thirty-one teams will secure automatic bids to the 2025 NCAA men’s basketball tournament through conference tournaments. The remaining 37 spots will be filled by at-large teams chosen by the selection committee.

* SEC (Southeastern Conference)
* Southern

* SWAC (Southwest Atlantic Conference)
* Summit League
* Sun Belt
The 37 at-large teams will be selected by the selection committee, with the tournament set to begin in March.
