6ix9ine’s Luxe Belongings Fetch $500,000 at IRS Auction

Rapper 6ix9ine’s personal belongings, seized by the IRS last year, were auctioned off recently and sold for a grand total of $510,500. The sale included 63 items, such as jewelry, watches, purses, plaques, and even his signature Bruce The Shark pendant.

Six platinum plaques honoring 6ix9ine’s hit songs “Gummo,” “Gooba,” and “Fefe” sold for top dollar, with the most expensive being the Bruce The Shark pendant, which went to a buyer for $60,000. Collectors also paid handsomely for these memorabilia pieces, citing their value as irreplaceable parts of music history.

The auction also featured 21 plaques commemorating 6ix9ine’s rap achievements, with each selling between $4,000 and $19,000. Additionally, a pair of earrings sold for $300, significantly below the estimated price of $50.

These sales demonstrate that even years after their seizure, 6ix9ine’s belongings continue to attract buyers, both collectors and resellers alike. The auctioneer noted that the sale was a “sleeper hit,” indicating its unexpected success in bringing together fans and collectors eager to own pieces of music history.
