Lossless Audio:
Spotify has joined the ranks of Apple Music and Tidal with its new lossless audio feature. To enable this feature, go to Settings > Media Quality on mobile or desktop and select Lossless. This will unlock richer detail across all songs in Spotify’s vast library.
Exclude Tracks from Taste Profile:
Play a track on Spotify and click the three dots to exclude it from your taste profile. You can always add it back later with the same steps. This feature is available globally for Free and Premium users.
Spotify-ChatGPT Integration:
Use ChatGPT with Spotify by logging in, inputting a prompt like “create a playlist for my upcoming trip,” connecting to Spotify, and continuing the conversation. The AI bot will send playlists and recommendations within the chat.
Message Your Friends:
Spotify’s new Messages feature allows you to text friends and family directly within the app. You can share songs, podcasts, audiobooks, and more with other Spotify users. This feature is available for Premium users above 16 years old in select markets.
Smart Filters:
Apply a Smart Filter to sort artists, playlists, and albums based on mood, genre, or activity. Tap the “X” button to return to normal view. This feature is rolling out to Premium users.
Snooze:
Temporarily remove a track from your recommendations with Spotify’s new Snooze feature. You can use this option when you want to exclude a song without permanently removing it from your library.
Playlist Transitions:
Customize your playlists with seamless transitions using the Mix button on top of your playlists. This feature is rolling out to Premium users on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
