$8 Billion Contracts Awarded for Space and Missile Systems

The US Air Force has awarded three contracts totaling $5,923,580,297 and $5,366,439,406 to Blue Origin LLC, United Launch Services LLC, and Raytheon Co., respectively. The contracts are for the National Security Space Launch Phase 3 Lane 2 launch service procurement and provide various services including launch services, mission unique services, and fleet surveillance.

The Air Force contracts were awarded through a competitive acquisition process with four offers received each. Fiscal 2025 space procurement funds in the amount of $75,922,000 will be obligated in the first order year for launch service support and fleet surveillance task orders.

In addition to the Air Force contracts, Raytheon Co. has been awarded a firm-fixed-price modification to a previously awarded contract to exercise an option and provide funding for manufacturing, assembly, test and delivery of Standard Missile-6 (SM-6) Tactical All-Up Rounds.

The Navy has also awarded several contracts including a $117,066,704 firm-fixed-price modification to support full rate production requirements. The US Air Force and the Defense Logistics Agency have also awarded contracts for self-inflating mats and aviation turbine fuel in support of various programs.

Note: Total contract value includes both firm-fixed-price and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts.
