The 97th Academy Awards have concluded with a star-studded show. Adrien Brody took home his second leading man Oscar for “The Brutalist,” while Mikey Madison won the best actress statuette for her role in “Anora.” The film “Anora” also dominated the awards, winning five accolades including Best Picture.
Other winners included Kieran Culkin, who received the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his work on “A Real Pain,” and Zoe Saldaña, who won for her role in “Emilia Pérez.” Sean Baker had a standout night, taking home awards for Screenplay, Director, and Editing for “Anora.”
In other categories, “Flow” took home the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film, while Paul Tazewell became the first Black man to win an Oscar for costume design with his work on “Wicked.” The full list of winners includes:
