Astronauts Complete Space Station Hardware Installations

The Expedition 72 crew has wrapped up their hardware installations aboard the International Space Station. NASA astronauts Don Pettit and Nick Hague successfully finalized the installation of the European Enhanced Exploration Exercise Device, which provides advanced exercise capabilities for future missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond. Meanwhile, three cosmonauts from Roscosmos slept in on Friday following a spacewalk on Thursday, where they installed a celestial X-ray investigation and removed older experiments. The crew will spend Christmas and New Year’s Day relaxing before continuing their research into 2025.
