Chiefs to Activate Hollywood Brown for Game Against Texans

The Kansas City Chiefs will activate wide receiver Hollywood Brown from injured reserve and play him in Saturday’s game against the Houston Texans, unless there are any setbacks. Brown has been sidelined since suffering a sternoclavicular injury during the first preseason game.

After surgery and rehabilitation, Brown returned to practice last week. Chiefs coach Andy Reid is optimistic about his return, stating “there’s a good chance” Brown will play on Saturday. Reid praised Brown’s progress, noting he has done a nice job of maintaining his running shape.

Brown, who caught 51 passes for the Arizona Cardinals last season, had a standout season with the Baltimore Ravens in 2021, hauling in 91 catches for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns.
