Quarterback Russell Wilson acknowledged that two negative plays ultimately sealed Baltimore’s 34-17 win over Pittsburgh on Saturday. The first play, where Wilson fumbled after a long run inside the Ravens’ 5-yard-line, gave Baltimore a chance to score and take the lead. Wilson described it as “unacceptable.”
Later in the game, a pass to tight end MyCole Pruitt was intercepted by cornerback Marlon Humphrey, giving Baltimore the ball back with just minutes left. Wilson expressed frustration, saying he couldn’t let those mistakes happen.
Despite a late rally that tied the score 17-17, Wilson’s errors proved costly. The loss has dealt a significant blow to the Steelers’ AFC North hopes and sets them up for an uphill battle against the Chiefs on Wednesday.
