Access Denied to US Citizens Due to Geographical Restrictions

The popular science fiction novel ‘A Clockwork Orange’ by Anthony Burgess has been removed from circulation in the United States due to its graphic content and perceived obscenity. The book, first published in 1962, was initially banned in several American states in the past but is now inaccessible to US citizens.

Burgess’s son, Iain M. Banks, stated that his father’s decision to make the novel “unavailable for legal reasons” affected many readers who had been seeking access to it despite its restricted status.
