Dolphins’ Injuries to Waddle, Armstead Leave Uncertainty

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is unlikely to play against the San Francisco 49ers due to a knee injury that forced him to leave last week’s game. Fellow wide receiver Dee Eskridge also sits out with a similar issue and didn’t practice this week.

Starting left tackle Terron Armstead made his first appearance on the practice field since Week 10, but he was limited on Friday. Right tackle Kendall Lamm is questionable due to back issues, which prevented him from playing last week.

Tyreek Hill has been dealing with a wrist injury and practiced with limitations on Friday. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has also been affected by hip pain, but he’s expected to play against the 49ers.

The 49ers will rely on fourth-year running back Patrick Taylor, who has averaged 3.9 yards per carry in his career, as their lead back. San Francisco’s defense is dealing with several injuries, including Nick Bosa, Dre Greenlaw, and Robert Beal Jr., all of whom were limited in Friday’s practice.
