Fortnite has kicked off its annual Winterfest event, bringing back a feature that was absent last year. The Winterfest Lodge is now filled with Christmas presents for players to unwrap, containing various cosmetic rewards, including festive skins and items.
Players can access each present by tearing off the wrapping paper once per day during the event, which will run until January 7th. This year’s gifts come from different Fortnite NPCs, such as Sgt. Winter and Guffmas Tree, who seem to be spreading holiday cheer.
The presents include:
* A Peppermint Paraglider Glider
* A Yule Bag Back Bling
* A Snow Sparkle Contrail
* That’s Cold Jac! Back Bling
* Dogg Treat Pickaxe
In addition to unwrapping gifts, players can also interact with the Winterfest Lodge by turning on and off a neon Llama sign and warming up by the fire. This activity will earn XP passively.
Meanwhile, Call of Duty is running its own Christmas event, offering free rewards earned by gathering Archies in matches. The event seems to be an attempt by Activision to address rampant cheating in Warzone.
Fortnite fans can now enjoy the Winterfest 2024 event and browse the Item Shop for holiday cosmetics, including the Snoop Dogg skin, which will be available later in the event.
