A small private plane carrying 10 people crashed in southern Brazil’s mountain resort town of Gramado on Sunday, injuring at least 17 others and killing everyone on board. The aircraft, owned by a Brazilian businessman, clipped buildings as it fell from the sky.
The governor of Rio Grande do Sul state expressed his solidarity with the families of those who died in the accident and attributed poor weather conditions to the cause. Investigations into the crash are ongoing, led by Brazil’s aviation accident investigation center.
