Amazon Founder Denies $600 Million Wedding Plans with Fiancée Lauren Sanchez

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has denied reports of his planned wedding to fiancée Lauren Sanchez, which reportedly took place next Saturday in Aspen, Colorado. The billionaire, who recently finalized his divorce from first wife MacKenzie Scott, had been speculated to tie the knot with Sanchez in a lavish winter wonderland-themed ceremony.

Sanchez, a former broadcast journalist and entrepreneur, has made headlines for her various ventures, including launching Black Ops Aviation as the first female-owned aerial film and production company. She also serves as vice chair of Bezos’ Earth Fund, which focuses on combating climate change and preserving the environment.

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sanchez began her career as a broadcast journalist before becoming an entertainment reporter for Fox Sports Net. She has also made appearances in several films, including The Longest Yard and Ted 2. In addition to her work, she shares two children with ex-husband Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell and has a son from her relationship with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez.

Sanchez recently wrote a bilingual children’s book, The Fly Who Flew to Space, which was published in September 2024. She has been dating Bezos since 2018 and the couple went public with their relationship in July 2019.
