Astronauts Send Christmas Greetings from Orbiting Space Station

A team of astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) has sent holiday greetings from their orbital home, some 250 miles above Earth. Sunita Williams and Barry Wilmore, who have been stationed at the ISS for more than six months, surprised passengers with their festive message during a live broadcast on Christmas Day. The duo’s extended stay was initially expected to last only a week.
