The Minnesota Vikings (13-2) are set to host the Green Bay Packers (11-4) in Week 17, but injuries have taken a toll on both teams’ practice reports.
Eight players from the Vikings and nine from the Packers were listed as injured, with some being limited or not participating in Wednesday’s practices. The most notable injury among the Vikings is linebacker Ivan Pace Jr.’s return to practice after a 21-day evaluation window. Pace was designated for return from Injured Reserve this week.
Safety Harrison Smith and cornerback Fabian Moreau did not participate due to injuries, while defensive lineman Jalen Redmond was listed as limited.
On the other side, Packers linebackers Quay Walker and Ty’Ron Hopper, along with receiver Christian Watson and safety Evan Williams, did not practice due to injuries. However, tight ends Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave were limited.
Practice statuses showed some players returning from injuries, including cornerback Jaire Alexander and Corey Ballentine, who both fully participated in Wednesday’s practices.
