Beyoncé’s “Beyoncé Bowl” halftime performance during the Ravens-Texans game in Houston on December 25 was an unforgettable spectacle. The singer entered the stadium on horseback, wearing a white-feathered gown and western hat, before opening with her song “16 Carriages.” She later appeared at the center of the field in a bedazzled bodysuit and chaps to perform “Ya Ya.”
The performance also featured special guests, including Post Malone, who sang his song “Levii’s Jeans,” and Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and others on her new album Cowboy Carter. The event was part of Netflix’s first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday.
Beyoncé closed the show with her hit song “Texas Hold ‘Em,” joined by 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy in a line dance. The performance marked the live debut of songs from her latest studio album, which is also the title of her new project Cowboy Carter.
This marks Beyoncé’s second halftime performance for an NFL game, following her iconic Super Bowl Halftime show in 2013 and surprise appearance at the 2016 Super Bowl. The singer has now been recognized as the most certified female artist by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), with 103 titles under her belt.
