The Philadelphia Eagles’ injury report ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys is uncertain, with quarterback Jalen Hurts still dealing with a concussion.
Hurts did not participate in practice on Thursday and Coach Nick Sirianni expressed uncertainty about his availability for the game. The coach stated that the decision to play or sit Hurts rests solely with the medical team.
Meanwhile, backup quarterback Kenny Pickett is expected to be ready to play despite suffering from injured ribs. Pickett has been preparing for any scenario that may present itself on Sunday and expressed confidence in his ability to perform.
Other players who did not participate in practice included running back Will Shipley, who is also in the NFL’s concussion protocol, and defensive end Bryce Huff, who is working within the 21-day practice window to come off Injured Reserve.
In a separate injury update, the Cowboys announced that All-Pro wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will miss the final two games of the season due to a lingering shoulder injury.
The Eagles’ first full practice of the week took place on Thursday, with several players participating in full or limited capacity. The team has made some roster moves, including signing quarterback Ian Book to the practice squad.
