OnePlus Open 2 Unveiled with Impressive Features

The highly-anticipated OnePlus Open 2 has finally been spotted, showcasing its impressive features and design. As the sequel to the original Open from 2023, the new device is expected to live up to its predecessor’s standards.

According to recent leaks, the OnePlus Open 2 will boast a larger and thinner form factor than its predecessor, measuring just 10mm in thickness when folded. It will also retain the iconic circular camera island with prominent Hasselblad branding.

The phone will feature an 8-inch “2K” LTPO OLED folding screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, paired with a 6.4-inch cover display and powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. The device is expected to come in various storage options, including up to 1TB of storage.

The camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor, 50 MP ultrawide, and 50 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Selfies will be taken care of by two cameras, one on the inside screen and another on the cover display, both featuring high-quality sensors.

Battery life is expected to be impressive, with a 5,900 mAh capacity supporting fast charging options, including 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device will ship with Android 15 and OxygenOS 15 out of the box.

Interestingly, sources suggest that the OnePlus Open 2 will be rebranded Oppo Find N5, set to launch in China early next year, with a release date expected in late Q1, possibly in March.
