Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 Specs Leaked with GDDR7 Memory

Nvidia’s latest leak from renowned leaker Kopite has revealed specifications for the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 family, including the base model. The leaked data shows that the RTX 5070 Ti features a more powerful GPU with 8960 CUDA cores or 70 SMs, 16% more than the RTX 4070 Ti. This results in 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM running at 28 Gbps for a total bandwidth of 896 GB/s.

In comparison, the base model RTX 5070 boasts 6144 CUDA cores and 12GB of GDDR7 memory across a 192-bit interface for 672 GB/s of bandwidth. The RTX 5070 Ti is expected to consume 300W of power, while its predecessor consumed only 285W.

The leaked data also shows that Nvidia’s RTX 5080 has seen a significant reduction in specs compared to the RTX 5090, with some speculators suggesting a potential 48GB upgrade for the high-end model. However, it is worth noting that both Intel and AMD have dropped out of the high-end market, leaving users demanding higher VRAM capacities with limited options.

The upcoming Blackwell lineup, including the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 family, is expected to debut at CES next month. With Samsung set to initiate mass production of its GDDR7 memory early next year, Nvidia may consider using this technology in future models for increased VRAM capacities.
