Kaiser Permanente’s 2025 Rose Parade float, “More Healthy Days for More Healthy Years,” has received the prestigious Wrigley Legacy Award for outstanding display of floral presentation, float design, and entertainment. The theme of this year’s float symbolizes a day of healthy living and celebrates Kaiser Permanente’s focus on total health – body, mind, and spirit.
The 28-foot tall, 18-foot wide, and 55-foot long float features a radiant sun at one end and a serene moon at the other, with various healthy activities in between. The design showcases the essential role of nutritious food, physical activity, and mental wellness in overall health. Eleven Kaiser Permanente members and care providers rode on the float during the parade, while nine Special Olympics Southern California athletes and their supporters walked alongside it.
Kaiser Permanente’s 19th Rose Parade entry embodies the 2025 theme “Best Day Ever,” celebrating life’s best moments. The organization has been recognized for its creative and entertaining floats nearly every year since participating in the parade.
The float was designed and built by Phoenix Decorating Company, a testament to Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to care innovations, clinical research, health education, and community health.
Kaiser Permanente is one of America’s leading healthcare providers and not-for-profit health plans, serving 12.6 million members in eight states and the District of Columbia. The organization prioritizes total health, guided by personal physicians, specialists, and caregivers.
