Apple Unveils Ultra-Thin iPhone 17 Air Design Concept

Apple is reportedly working on an ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to be released next year with the launch of the iPhone 17 lineup. The device features a refreshed design, marking a significant departure from recent variants that have stuck to minor tweaks.

The concept, shared by Technizo Concept on YouTube, showcases a complete redesign of the iPhone 17 Air, which will replace the ‘Plus’ model in the lineup. The device is expected to be one of the thinnest iPhones ever made, with a thickness below 6.5mm, even beating the decade-old iPhone 6.

Design-wise, the iPhone 17 Air takes cues from recent leaks and reports, including a horizontally-arranged camera array similar to the Google Pixel 9 series. The concept also shows a triple-lens camera on the back, although this may be an unconventional choice for Apple. Furthermore, the device features a part-aluminum, part-glass design, which will allow wireless charging capabilities.

The front of the iPhone 17 Air boasts a 6.65-inch OLED display with ProMotion support. Notably, the Dynamic Island is smaller on the front compared to previous models. The highlight of the concept is the ultra-thin design with a USB-C port on the bottom.

While it’s too early to confirm all details, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to be Apple’s most hyped device due to its sleek design and innovative features.
