Apple is partnering with Strava to offer a free three-month trial of its Fitness Plus subscription service to new and current subscribers. To access the trial, users must be a current or newly signed up Strava subscriber and own an Apple Watch running watchOS 11.2.
The collaboration aims to attract workout enthusiasts to Apple’s exercise- and wellness-focused service, which offers access to a vast library of 4K video content. Existing Fitness Plus subscribers will receive an extended trial period, not three additional months.
Fitness Plus costs $9.99 per month or $79.99 for the year. The service includes over 6,500 videos on popular workout types, such as HIIT, Yoga, and cycling. Strava users can also expect improved data integration within the Fitness Plus app, including post-exercise summary details when recording a workout session.
Four new workout programs are set to launch in January, including one for pickleball enthusiasts and a strength training program with a focus on major muscle groups. Other offerings include a Yoga Peak Poses workshop and a Breathing Meditation program.
