Nvidia’s upcoming GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card has leaked online, according to images purporting to be of the MSI Gaming Trio RTX 5080. The leak confirms some key specs and suggests that the RTX 5080 will be launched after CES 2025.
The leaked packaging shows a 256-bit memory bus and 16GB GDDR7 memory, indicating it will be a powerful GPU for 4K gaming. Rumors also suggest it may be the first consumer card to use PCIe 5.0 and features Nvidia’s Blackwell GPU architecture with 10,752 CUDA cores.
However, the packaging does not confirm some specs, leaving them as speculation at this point. The RTX 5080 is expected to have 84 ray-tracing cores and 84 tensor cores, a 5% increase in core counts over the RTX 4080 Super.
The leak comes ahead of CES 2025 and may shed light on the new GPU’s specs before the official announcement next week.
