Onkyo has announced two new lines of high-fidelity audio products at CES 2025, aiming to reinvent the brand’s hi-fi offering. The company has unveiled powerful speakers and a range of streaming amplifiers designed to appeal to audiophiles.
The Onkyo GX10DB and GX30ARC powered monitors are compact, active speakers perfect for desktop use or as part of a stereo system. Both models feature multiple connectivity options, including Bluetooth, USB-C, Optical, and HDMI, making them suitable for pairing with TVs. The smaller GX10 model boasts a 3-inch woofer and 17×2-watt power, while the larger GX30ARC has a 4-inch woofer and 25x2W power.
Onkyo’s new streaming amplifiers, including the Icon P-80 network preamplifier ($1,999) and A-50 network integrated amplifier ($1,499), cater to audiophiles who want high-quality sound streaming capabilities. These devices support popular music services like Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Amazon Music, AirPlay 2, and Google Cast.
The company’s goal is to reestablish its identity in the hi-fi market, drawing inspiration from its classic components of the 1970s and ’80s. Onkyo’s new products are set to hit the market in the spring and fourth quarter of 2025, respectively.
