McDonald’s has announced a new “McValue platform” menu that offers customers savings options at its US restaurants, including those in Michigan. The new menu aims to provide “variety, choice and flexibility” for customers to define value on their own terms.
The McValue platform includes all-day savings, deals on personal go-to orders, and universal favorites like the $5 Meal Deal. New to the platform is a “Buy One, Add One for $1” offer, which allows customers to mix and match menu items at a discounted price.
In Michigan, customers can enjoy 20% off purchases over $7, $1.49 any-size fries, or a $6 Big Mac combo meal through the McDonald’s App. Additionally, when the Detroit Lions make an interception in their playoff games, fans can get a free order of any-size fries via the app.
The $5 Value Meal continues to be offered, which includes a choice of sandwich, small fries, 4-piece Chicken McNuggets, and a small soft drink. Other promotions through the App include free medium fries with a $1 purchase every Friday in 2025 and a free McCrispy chicken sandwich for new users.
Prices may vary by location, and there are restrictions on some offers. For more information, readers can contact Detroit Free Press food writer Susan Selasky at [email protected] or follow her on X (formerly Twitter).
