Comedian Nikki Glaser is reportedly returning to host the Golden Globes next year, this time with a significantly higher paycheck. According to Deadline, Glaser’s initial hosting fee was around $400,000, but it will rise “significantly” in 2026.
Glaser signed a three-year deal to host the ceremony last year and her success earned her immediate support to bring her back. In an interview with Howard Stern, she hinted at her return and pay raise, saying she’ll get more next year than previous hosts like Jerrod Carmichael.
Industry insiders claim that more was invested in Glaser and her team this year, including a bigger writing team, making her the “investment” in a long-term solo host. The move seems to have worked well for everyone involved.
Glaser’s opening monologue was well-received by fans and A-list attendees alike, who praised its comedic value. However, not everyone was amused with one of her jokes about Sean “Diddy” Combs, which sparked backlash from an attorney representing some of his alleged victims.
