Porsche has unveiled the 2025 911 Carrera S, a performance-oriented variant that bridges the gap between the 911 Carrera and Carrera GTS T-Hybrid models. The new model boasts significant upgrades in power output, standard equipment, and customization options.
The 911 Carrera S is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter boxer engine producing 473 horsepower, with an eight-speed PDK transmission sending power to the rear wheels. This represents a 30-hp increase over its predecessor and achieves impressive performance levels previously reserved for the Carrera GTS of the previous generation.
Standard equipment has been extensively upgraded, including Sport Exhaust with silver tailpipes, high-performance brakes, and updated dampers with optimized hydraulics. The model also features Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+) and staggered 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels. Additionally, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) and PASM Sport Suspension are available as options.
The interior has been significantly upgraded, offering an increased amount of leather upholstery as standard, including the seats, headrests, upper dashboard, and door panels. A full leather interior is also optionally available, with Exclusive Manufaktur Leather Interior offering 48 possible two-tone combinations.
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S is now available to order as a Coupe or Cabriolet with rear-wheel drive, priced at $146,400 (Coupe) and $159,600 (Cabriolet), excluding a $1,995 delivery fee. Delivery is expected to begin in Spring 2025.
