Actress Jennifer Garner revealed that she lost a friend due to the devastating Palisades and Eaton fires in Los Angeles, which destroyed over 21,000 acres of land. The actress, who worked alongside chef José Andrés at one of his pop-up food locations, spoke candidly about her emotions after losing the friend from her church.
Garner shared that she feels guilty for not being able to help more and is overwhelmed by the scale of the disaster. She praised Chef Andrés’ efforts with World Central Kitchen, saying it’s an “incredible thing to watch.” Garner has a personal connection to the chef through her work with Save The Children, which helped facilitate her involvement in the relief efforts.
The Palisades Fire remains the largest fire in Los Angeles County, with over 5,000 homes lost. Several celebrities, including Adam Brody and Jennifer Grey, have also lost their homes due to the devastating blaze.
