Actress Jennifer Garner revealed she “lost a friend” in the devastating Los Angeles wildfires that have displaced over 130,000 people and killed at least 10.
Speaking to MSNBC while volunteering with Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen, Garner said she couldn’t share details due to sensitivity for her church community. However, she expressed overwhelming sympathy for those affected, stating “my heart bleeds for my friends.” With thousands of homes lost in the still-uncontained blaze, Garner struggled to cope with her own safety and resources.
Garner praised World Central Kitchen’s efforts, describing their work as “incredible” and a source of comfort. Andres recently received the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his humanitarian efforts. More than 10,000 structures have burned down across multiple fires in LA, displacing over 130,000 people and claiming at least 10 lives.
