Radeon RX 9070 XT Leaks Reveal Pricing, Could Challenge Nvidia’s Mid-Range dominance

AMD’s highly anticipated Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card may finally be within reach, with several pricing leaks emerging in recent days. According to reports, the reference card will cost around $479, while more elaborate models from partner manufacturers could fetch up to $600.

The leak highlights the competitiveness of AMD’s new mid-range offerings, which appear to challenge Nvidia’s dominance in this segment. The RTX 5070 is currently priced at $549, but if AMD can offer similar performance for less, it will be a significant threat to Nvidia’s market share.

A recent performance test showed that the RX 9070 XT outperformed the RTX 4070 Ti Super and even eclipsed the RTX 4080 Super in some cases. While a $600 price tag would only place the RX 9070 XT near the RTX 4070 Super, AMD’s goal is to offer performance a step above this for a similar price.

The new Radeon RX 9000 RDNA 4 graphics cards also come with features like FSR 4, a framerate-boosting technology that could help AMD compete with Nvidia. With both companies launching new models in the coming weeks, we can expect pricing to fluctuate and competition to heat up.

As the release date approaches, it’s essential for AMD to maintain its competitive edge on price while showcasing the capabilities of its new graphics cards.
