A luxurious mansion featured on HBO’s Succession has been ravaged by the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles, which has destroyed over 22,000 acres of homes and businesses in the affluent beachside neighborhood. The San Onofre estate, valued at $83 million, was showcased in the fourth season of the show as a key location for the Roy siblings’ luxury lifestyle.
The mansion, built in 2020, boasted 18 bedrooms, six bathrooms, and numerous high-end amenities, including multiple pools, a movie theater, and a retractable ceiling with a huge sunroof. The property was scooped up by Luminar Technologies CEO Austin Russell in 2021 for the reported sale price.
The fire has had devastating consequences on LA residents, who have lost homes, pets, family members, and precious possessions. The blaze is part of a larger wildfire season that has destroyed over 10,000 structures and burned 36,000 acres across the city.
