Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have rolled up their sleeves to help those affected by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. The couple joined hundreds of Southern California residents in volunteering at the Pasadena Convention Center, a makeshift evacuation site for those forced to leave their homes.
At the center, Meghan and Harry donated essential supplies and served meals with World Central Kitchen. They were accompanied by chef José Andrés, California’s first partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom, and Mayor Victor Gordo. The group spent time with first responders and affected families, showing genuine concern for those impacted.
The royal couple opted to volunteer anonymously, dressing in baseball caps and face masks. Mayor Gordo praised their efforts, stating that they “want to be as helpful as they can be” without seeking publicity. Meghan, who grew up in Los Angeles, has been using her connections to open her home to friends and loved ones displaced by the fires.
Harry and Meghan have also been donating money, clothing, and essential items to those affected through their Archewell Foundation. The couple’s efforts demonstrate their commitment to supporting those in need during this difficult time.
