Clemson Falls Short vs No. 3 Notre Dame

Clemson’s offense struggled to find its rhythm against No. 3 Notre Dame, ultimately falling short in a 67-58 loss. Despite a strong defensive performance, the Tigers’ inability to score from beyond the arc and find consistent efficiency on offense led to their defeat. Led by loyal McQueen, who scored 14 points, Clemson was unable to overcome the Fighting Irish’s high-powered attack.

Notre Dame’s star sophomore Hannah Hildago missed the game due to an ankle injury, but the team still managed to secure its ninth straight win. The Tigers’ struggles were evident on both ends of the court, with the defense facing a challenging task in containing Notre Dame’s potent offense. Despite this, McQueen played a crucial role in keeping the game close, surpassing 1,000 career points early in the first half.

Clemson will look to bounce back from its second straight loss as it begins a two-game road trip on Thursday, January 16th, against Florida State.
