Panasonic Z95B OLED TV Review: A Brighter, Bolder Alternative

Panasonic’s new Z95B OLED TV takes picture quality to an unprecedented level with its Primary RGB Tandem Panel and ThermalFlow aerodynamic cooling system.

The company unveiled its 2025 TV lineup at CES 2025, featuring flagship OLED and mini-LED TVs, as well as a budget LED TV series exclusive to the US market. The new Z95B boasts several innovations that make it a worthy upgrade over last year’s Z95A.

The Primary RGB Tandem Panel is similar to LG’s “4-stack” design, which improves panel efficiency by 40%. This translates to a significant increase in brightness and a broader color volume. Additionally, the ThermalFlow cooling system uses aerodynamic techniques inspired by race car design to boost brightness by maximizing panel efficiency.

Other notable features include the Amazon Fire TV smart interface, Prime Video Calibrated Mode, HCX Pro AI Processor MK II processor, Dolby Vision IQ with Precision Detail, and ATSC 3.0 tuner for receiving Next-Gen TV broadcasts in the US. The Z95B also supports up to 144Hz refresh rates, including Dolby Vision.

While not a major overhaul, the new Z95B’s picture quality is superb. In bright environments, its OLED panel shines with improved brightness and color volume. Onscreen glare is minimized, resulting in better contrast.

The TV’s sound quality has been enhanced with a speaker redesign tuned by Panasonic’s Technics audio design wing. A new woofer configuration and increased power output from 20W to 30W further improve the immersive experience.

With sizes available in 55, 65, and 77 inches, including in the US market, the Panasonic Z95B is poised to be one of the best OLED TVs of 2025.
