Harry and Meghan Support Wildfire Relief Efforts in SoCal

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have visited World Central Kitchen in Pasadena, California, to support relief efforts for those affected by the deadly wildfires in Southern California.

The couple, who live about 90 miles north of Los Angeles, donated essential supplies, served meals with World Central Kitchen, and connected with families and elderly individuals impacted by the Eaton Fire. They also met with first responders, including L.A. County firefighters and police, to thank them for their efforts.

Alongside Jennifer Siebel Newsom, California’s First Partner, and Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo, the couple expressed gratitude to relief teams and praised the community spirit in the face of disaster. Meghan, who was born in Los Angeles, also stopped by the command post at the Rose Bowl, where locals were thrilled to see her.

The Archewell Foundation, founded by Harry and Meghan, has contributed monetary donations and plans to continue supporting recovery efforts with future visits. The couple’s visit came just days after they shared information about resources available to those displaced, including World Central Kitchen, Airbnb, and 211LA.

As of Friday, the Eaton Fire had burned nearly 14,000 acres and was at 3% containment, claiming at least five confirmed fatalities. Harry and Meghan’s efforts aim to support the community during this difficult time.
