Eagles Dominate Dallas, Advance to Divisional Round with Wild Card Win

The Philadelphia Eagles emerged victorious in their Wild Card Round matchup against the Green Bay Packers, defeating them 22-10. The team’s physical play dominated the game, and they will host a Divisional Round matchup next weekend.

Dallas Goedert made an impressive run into the end zone, shoving cornerback Carrington Valentine several times to score a 24-yard touchdown. Rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell also picked off a Jordan Love pass in the end zone, preserving the Eagles’ win and advancing them to the Divisional Round.

Eagles linebacker Zack Baun intercepted a pass from Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love before halftime, ending the Packers’ scoring threat. Darius Slay also picked off a deep pass attempt by Love, forcing a turnover.

The Eagles’ defense held strong, with outside linebacker Nolan Smith Jr. sacking Jordan Love for a 14-yard loss on third down. Defensive back Jahan Dotson caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jalen Hurts, and rookie Jeremiah Trotter recovered a fumble on the opening kickoff.

Running back Saquon Barkley had a standout performance, rushing for 16 yards on the game’s first play from scrimmage. The Eagles tied a franchise record with their 14th win of the regular season and secured the 300th win under Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie’s tenure.

In their next matchup, quarterback Tanner McKee will look to build on his impressive start, throwing for two touchdowns in his first career NFL game.
