Samsung is expanding its Galaxy Ring lineup by adding size options 14 and 15, allowing more people to find a comfortable fit. The new sizes join existing rings in five to 13 sizes, with varying availability depending on market. Unlike other smart ring brands, Samsung’s larger sizes (12 and 13) use bigger batteries, which can last an extra day.
The move brings the Galaxy Ring closer to competitor Oura, whose smart ring is available in sizes four to 15. The expanded options will be welcome for those near the upper end of Samsung’s size range, particularly if they’re only half-size apart. However, users should note that finger swelling can make it difficult to remove the ring.
Samsung will also sell its smart ring in 16 new countries, including Japan, Taiwan, and South Africa, starting February 7th, with release dates varying by market.
