Samsung has confirmed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place later this month, with a focus on the second generation of Galaxy AI and connected peripherals. The main attraction, however, will be the new Galaxy S25 series, including the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra.
For those interested in purchasing the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung has opened a registration program offering several incentives. Registered users can receive a $50 voucher for additional eligible products. Additionally, a questionnaire was emailed to Samsung-registered users with a $50 offer attached.
The trade-in process is also expected to be enhanced, with offers up to $900 for last year’s flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra. However, not all traded-in phones will qualify for this amount. Older handsets or those from other manufacturers may only receive lower offers.
Furthermore, Samsung is offering a $300 credit for “qualifying products,” which may include new peripherals such as the Galaxy Wear smartwatch and Galaxy Buds true wireless earbuds. There’s also a rare chance to win a $5,000 Samsung credit voucher by making a reservation.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 Ultra are expected to open during the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22 at 1300 Eastern / 1000 Pacific. However, there has been speculation that the pre-order period may start earlier, on Friday, January 24. The pre-order period is crucial, as Samsung typically offers exclusive deals and promotions to those who purchase a new device within this timeframe.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to go on sale on Friday, February 7, with deliveries arriving for pre-orders shortly after.
