Cloudflare Outage Affects Global Access to Websites

A rolling Cloudflare outage is impacting access to websites worldwide, with sites working in some regions and not others. While Cloudflare claims they are conducting scheduled maintenance in Singapore and Nashville, their status page does not indicate any problems.

However, many users are experiencing error messages stating trouble connecting to the server when trying to access websites using Cloudflare. BleepingComputer is one of the affected sites, with users experiencing intermittent access issues. Monitoring tools suggest the outage is region-specific, as some staff can still access the site from the US while others in other countries cannot.

Downdetector reports increased complaints about Cloudflare around 1:45 PM ET, coinciding with BleepingComputer’s issue onset. Similar reports are found on X, where customers claim their sites are inaccessible over IPv4 but reachable through IPv6. NodeJS.org is also impacted, stating the outage affects access to the website and downloading Node.js.

BleepingComputer has reached out to Cloudflare for more information, but a response was not immediately available. This is a developing story.
