Rocket sirens sounded across Tel Aviv and central Israel on Tuesday morning after a missile was launched from Yemen, the IDF stated that several attempts were made to intercept it, likely succeeding.
MDA paramedics responded to search for people injured in a reported rocket strike, treating 11 hurt en route to bomb shelters, plus four with anxiety. Ben-Gurion Airport takeoffs and landings were briefly halted due to the launch.
Later, more sirens sounded near Gaza’s border community of Netiv Ha’assara, but Israel’s military said it was a false alarm. The incident occurred around two hours after Monday’s rocket siren sounds, which followed Yemen firing a missile fired from Yemen at Israel on Sunday and another last week.
The recent incident is linked to airstrikes launched by Israel, US, and UK against Houthi strongholds in Yemen.
