Netflix Postpones Meghan’s Show Amid LA Wildfires

A new Netflix series starring Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has been delayed due to the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires. The show, titled “With Love, Meghan,” was originally set to premiere on Wednesday but will now air on March 4. Netflix offered its support for Meghan’s request to postpone the launch, citing the need to focus on those affected by the fires.

The series, filmed in southern California, had been intended as a tribute to the region’s beauty. However, with wildfires raging through the state since Tuesday, killing at least 24 people and forcing hundreds of thousands to evacuate, it was deemed necessary to delay the release.

Meghan expressed gratitude to Netflix for their support, stating that she is thankful for the pause in production. The show features eight episodes starring Meghan, along with appearances from celebrities such as Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer. It includes scenes filmed in Montecito, where the Duchess lives with her husband Prince Harry and their two children.

The area affected by the wildfires is relatively safe, but its fire risk rating is high. The show’s production has been impacted by the ongoing disaster, but it will now proceed as planned on March 4.
